Amy Ravit Korin has been a social butterfly since birth. It started at Shelburne Community School when teachers noted that Amy was too chatty in class and even today she uses more monthly cell minutes than anyone she knows! With over nine years of experience in social and emerging media, online advertising, branding and digital communications, interactiveAmy is available to amplify your online!
Amy’s focus has been on counseling clients and executing digital media strategies for individuals, local businesses and Fortune 500 corporations. Areas of expertise include display and integrated online solutions, social networking, digital publicity and online content production. Amy has experience conversing with millennials and women over 40, Hispanics and African-Americans and everyone in between, both on and off line. The roster of clients that Amy helped develop digital strategy for during her years in Chicago is impressive and includes: Procter & Gamble, H&R Block, Target, Arizona Jeans, JCPenney, General Motors, Sun Microsystems, Kao Brands, Zappos, L’Oreal, Ocean Spray and ConAgra to name a few.
Before launching interactiveAmy as a full time gig, Amy spearheaded Interactive Business Development for On The Scene Productions and worked as Interactive Account Director for Alloy Media + Marketing. Amy also served as an Account Executive for Univision Online, the leading Spanish language media company in the US and in 2004 was Rookie of the Year at R.H. Donnelley, one of the nation’s leading Yellow Pages and online local commercial search companies.
Amy earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration from Loyola University’s Graduate School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and Human Resources in May of 2007, and is a member of the International Honor Society Beta Gamma Sigma recognizing business excellence. A proud Wolverine, Amy earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in April of 2000. Go Blue!
Amy is a joiner and never sits still. Amy is a member of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association and was honored as a 2008 CIMA Service Award recipient. She is also an Advisory Board Member overseeing membership for Chicago’s Social Media Club, please contact me if you want to become involved. Amy was the Programming Chairperson and served on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the University of Michigan Alumni Association from 2003-2007.
Amy lives and breathes social media personally and professionally. She is even an online dating success story – reconnecting with the first boy she ever kissed and marrying him in 2008! Amy and her husband Josh honeymooned in Thailand and currently live in Chicago, IL.
